A full electric hospital bed allows you to adjust the height, head, and foot sections using a hand control. A semi-electric bed uses a hand control for the head and foot adjustments, but the overall bed height is adjusted manually with a crank.

Yes, all rentals and purchases include a premium foam mattress for comfort and support, as well as clamp-on half rails on both sides of the bed for added safety. 

A prescription is not required for self-pay rentals or purchases. However, a prescription is typically necessary if you plan to use insurance coverage. 

Medicare and Medi-Cal may cover a hospital bed if medical necessity criteria are met. At this time, we are pending contracts with these payers and are considered out-of-network.
